Joann Fabrics Closing All Stores, Including Hudson Location

After over 80 years in business, Joann Fabrics, headquartered right here in Hudson, has announced it will be closing all 831 stores following its second bankruptcy. The company faced significant challenges, including a decline in sales post-COVID-19 and inventory shortages, leading to this difficult decision. Going-out-of-business sales will commence soon.

Allyson Briggs Sings the Music of WWII

Hudson High School Spring Sports Kickoff

Gymnastics Team Breaks School Record & Heads to State Championship!

The Hudson girls' gymnastics team hosted the 2025 District Championship Meet over the weekend and made history! The Explorers took home the District Title with a record-breaking team score of 146.900, the highest in school history. This incredible performance has secured them a spot at the State Championship Meet at Hilliard Bradley this weekend.

In addition to the team qualification, several gymnasts will compete in the Individual State Championship Meet:

  • Jillian Galich (4th place all-around, 36.850)

  • Genevieve Baylor (5th place all-around, 36.300)

  • Lila Junko (8th place all-around, alternate)

  • Shea Broski (3rd place on bars, 9.200)

  • Peyton Frank (5th place on beam, 9.325)

  • Claire Nalley (7th place on floor, 9.300)

Congratulations to our athletes and coaches on this amazing achievement! Best of luck at the State Championship—Roll Hud!

Hudson Lacrosse: The boys' and girls' lacrosse teams are preparing for an exciting season opener next Friday. Both teams have been putting in extra practice time to ensure a competitive start.

Hudson Track & Field: The spring season officially starts with a home meet on March 10th. Keep an eye out for standout performances from returning state qualifiers!

Hudson Players Present "Camelot"
