☀️ The Scoop on Hudson Weather
Spring in Hudson is playing all its greatest hits—warm sunshine, surprise storms, and a little wind just to keep things interesting. Will it be patio season or a battle with the breeze? Let’s see what’s in store!
- ☀️ Today – Crank up the spring fever-it’s sunny, warm, and breezy. High: 75°F | Low: 57°F (Patio season? We vote yes.)
- ⛈ Saturday, March 15 – Buckle up, it’s going to be warm, windy, and stormy. A couple of showers and thunderstorms rolling in, with possible damaging wind gusts. High: 73°F | Low: 56°F (Hold onto your umbrellas—literally.)
- 🌧 Sunday, March 16 – Morning showers, then cloudy and breezy. Temps take a dive overnight. High: 62°F | Low: 28°F (Don’t pack up the winter coat just yet.)
- 🌤 Monday, March 17 – Cooler, but at least the sun is back! High: 46°F | Low: 36°F (A reminder that yes, it’s still March.)
- 🌬 Tuesday, March 18 – Not as chilly and a mix of sun and clouds. Afternoon wind picks up! High: 58°F | Low: 42°F (Might need a windproof jacket for this one.)
- ☀️ Wednesday, March 19 – Breezy, mild, and partly sunny—spring is hanging on! High: 61°F | Low: 41°F (We’re cautiously optimistic.)
Whatever the forecast says, just assume there's a 50% chance it's wrong. 😉

📰 Fresh Off the Clocktower
🥧 Happy Pi Day, Hudson!
It’s March 14th, which means two things: math lovers are geeking out, and the rest of us have the perfect excuse to eat pie. 🍕🥧 Either way, we’re celebrating Pi Day—the day dedicated to 3.141592653… (and so on, forever).
📏 So, What’s the Big Deal with Pi?
Pi (π) is the magical number that makes circles work. It’s the ratio of a circle’s circumference to its diameter, and it never ends, never repeats—kind of like that one friend who can’t stop telling a story.
🧠 Fun Pi Facts You Can Use to Sound Smart:
- People have calculated 50 trillion digits of pi… but honestly, 3.14 is all you need to know.
- Albert Einstein was born on Pi Day. Coincidence? We think not.🧐
- The world record for most digits of pi memorized is 70,000. That’s a whole lot of brain space NOT used for grocery lists.
- NASA uses pi to send spacecraft to Mars. You? You can use it to order the perfect-sized pizza.
🥧 The Best Way to Celebrate? Eat Pie, Obviously!
If you needed a reason to treat yourself, here it is. Grab a slice (or three) at these Hudson favorites:
- 🍞 Awaken Bake Company – You do remember we just mentioned their pizza, right? Right?? Well, there's no better day then to go give it a try. Mention we sent you!
- 🍕 3 Palms Pizzeria – Wood-fired perfection, right in town.
- 🥧 Yours Truly – Because classic pie never goes out of style.
Whether you're solving equations or just in it for the dessert, enjoy 3.14 in the best way possible. Happy Pi Day, Hudson! 🎉
🎓 Help Fund All-Day Kindergarten—And Get Every Dollar Back! 🎓
Hudson, here’s an easy way to support local kids and keep your money—Ohio pays you back, dollar for dollar!
By donating to HudsonSGO, you help make all-day kindergarten at McDowell more affordable for Hudson families. And thanks to Ohio’s Scholarship Donation Credit, you get every dollar of your donation back as a tax credit (up to $750 per person or $1,500 for couples filing jointly).
💡 Why This Is a Big Deal:
- A tax credit reduces what you owe the state—not just your taxable income.
- Give $750? You owe $750 less in state taxes. Simple as that.
- Your donation directly supports low-income students in Hudson.
📝 How to Donate & Claim the Credit:
- Donate at ABC Ohio and select HudsonSGO.
- Keep your donation receipt.
- Claim your tax credit on line 15 of the Ohio Schedule of Credits when filing your 2025 state taxes.
This is a no-brainer way to give back and get your money back. Just one more way to make Hudson a great place to live for all our residents! Got questions? Ask your tax pro.
